The Croatian school was established in Dublin in October 2008. The classes are held on Saturdays in two groups (10 am and noon in the city centre), in accordance with the curriculum for Croatian classes abroad. So far there are about fifteen children aged between six and forteen who are attending the classes.

The Croatian National Tourist Board will be again present at this years’ Holiday World Show in Dublin this weekend. Beside the National Tourist Board, Croatian tourist offer will be presented by the regional tourist offices as well as Irish tour operators.
The show is open on Friday 23 January (1 pm-7 pm), as well as Saturday 24 January and Sunday 25 January (11 am – 5h30 pm).

The exhibition showcases photographs of a number of Croatian lighthouses by renowned Croatian photographers. The lighthouses on the Croatian side of the Adriatic Sea are a combination of history, cultural heritage and architectural beauty and their uniqueness is best captured through photography.

Croatian classical guitar player Ana Vidović played a concert as part of the Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland on Saturday, 05 July 2008 at the Shaw Room of the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin. During her first visit to Ireland she also held master classes and technique classes at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

A delegation of Zadar County, the Town of Zadar and representatives of the tourism sector from Zadar have visited Dublin, travelling on the first direct Ryanair flight connecting Zadar and Dublin (the route being established earlier this month).
The direct flight between Dublin and Zadar will be a great opportunity for Irish people to further explore Croatia, as Zadar and its surroundings are one of the most beautiful areas Croatia has to offer. It will also be a great opportunity for bringing more Croatian visitors to Dublin and Ireland.

Croatia will pariticpate in the celebrations of the International Day of Francophonie to be held on Thursday, 20 March at 6 pm in Dublin's Sugar Club. As part of a short film screening featuring films from eleven countries, Croatia will be represented by the short film „Drought“ by Dalibor Matanić.
